Kathy Wilkerson has been with the association as ministry assistant and executive board clerk since May 20, 2002. She is a 1972 graduate of Newark High School, Newark, AR.
She is the blessed mother of two children and their spouses, four grandchildren and one GREAT grandchild who she loves spending time with.
She enjoys attending women's conferences, scrapbooking, interior decorating, bowling, watching ice skating and game shows.
Saved by God's grace and baptized at the age of 17 at Oak Knoll Baptist Church in Haltom City, TX and has been a member of Desha Baptist since May 1996 where she teaches Sunday School, is part of the women's ministry team and directs and plans Vacation Bible School.
She loves missions and has just returned from her 13th mission trip since 2006. Serving the Lord is one of her greatest joys in life.
Proverbs 3:5-6 is one of her favorite verses
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."
