North American Missions

Wyoming Trip              July 10-17

Currently, we have three mission opportunities to serve in Wyoming.

1.    Evanston, Wyoming: FBC, Batesville

Brenda Lemley & Jan Wesley are the point persons for this effort. Located in the southwest corner of Wyoming, this project will encourage the work of Aaron Leggett and consist of prayer walking--back yard Bible club—park type ministries. Aaron and his family moved from Batesville, AR to Evanston in the summer of 2020. Serving this area will yield contacts, gospel conversations, and prayer cover for ministry. Aaron is plowing new ground in a challenging area. Our team will be an important part of this work. Volunteers will be responsible for transportation to and from Wyoming, lodging and meals. Team size of 10 -15 volunteers.

 2.   Afton, Wyoming:  Chad Graves/Compass

This project will be construction and will consist of building walls, hanging doors, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.  We will be aiding pastor, Doug Hollen—Berean Bible Fellowship in developing their building into more user-friendly meeting space.  This job will require skilled and unskilled volunteers.  Afton is located Montana/Wyoming border in the central part of the state.  Volunteers will be responsible for transportation to and from Wyoming, lodging and meals.  Rooms have been reserved.  Team size of 8-14 volunteers.

 3.    Medicine Bow, Wyoming: Ronnie Toon

This project will consist of painting exterior of building, staining wood, remodeling a bathroom, and building an 8x12 storage building. Funds will need to be raised for this project ($6000.00). This is a small community church re-planted two years ago. Missionaries can sleep and cook in the church. Team size of 6-12 volunteers.

Sleeping two persons per room, volunteers should plan for $600.00--$700.00 per person for the trip. Medicine Bow will be a bit less as on-site lodging and meals can be provided in the church. If you are interested in one of these opportunities, contact the point person listed.
